Thames Water releases a statement on the company's response to the coronavirus.
We wanted to let you know what we’re doing to protect our staff and customers, whilst as always making sure we supply our water and wastewater services.
We understand this is a challenging time. We’ve got robust plans to keep our services and operations running, and we’re putting them into practice now.
We’re following government health advice to make sure our customers and our people stay safe, while making sure we continue to deliver our critical services to you. This might mean we need to change the way we do things for a while or some activities may take a little longer. If that’s the case, rest assured, we’ll keep you updated here.
The health and safety of our employees is really important to us, and we’re asking for your help and support to protect them. If we visit your home and you’re unwell, please let our teams know.
And of course, this works both ways. We’re following the latest advice and taking ample precautions, but if you’re due a visit from one of our teams and you’d rather postpone, we’ll understand completely and will be happy to rearrange.
We’ll keep our online and phone channels updated whenever further relevant information arises, so please do check back here.
