The Board of Directors of US Desalination appointed Mark Lambert as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2025. A 35+ year industry veteran of progressive leadership in water and environmental services industries, Lambert is known for his sturdy track record of managing successful water development organizations and large-scale projects.
Coming to US Desalination most recently from Kiewit Corporation, Lambert was previously Chief Executive Officer at IDE Americas. IDE is a global leader in water treatment solutions specializing in large-scale seawater desalination and industrial water treatment plants. While CEO of IDE Americas, Lambert was responsible for all IDE activities in the Americas, including the development and commissioning of the Claude “Bud” Lewis Carlsbad Desalination Plant located in Carlsbad, California, still the largest seawater desalination facility in the United States.
Coming to US Desalination most recently from Kiewit Corporation, Lambert was previously Chief Executive Officer at IDE Americas

Prior to his role at IDE, Mr. Lambert held various senior management positions in the water industry, including American Water, U.S. Filter Corporation, and Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI). He is also the Founder and Managing Partner of WaterMark Resource Development Inc.
