Heartland Water Technology, a global technology company that develops products to solve some of the world’s most challenging waste water problems, announced the opening of its Heartland China office in Shanghai and the hiring of Quincy Wang to lead Heartland China’s expansion “The Chinese government is focused on improving environmental conditions across the country” said Earl Jones, CEO of Heartland Water. “We are excited to bring our technology and domain experience to the China Market where we will work and help contribute to this mission.”
“Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) is mandated in major industrial sectors in China, such as Municipal Solid Waste, Coal Power, Coal-to-Chemical and heavy industry, among others.” said Quincy Wang, Vice President of Heartland China. “I have consulted with Heartland for over a year, and personally completed the technoeconomic analysis of the Heartland technology. I am convinced that Heartland’s rugged, proven and cost-effective solution for wastewater evaporation and ZLD is going to make a big impact here in China.”
Quincy brings over 20 years of market and business development experience to the Heartland team and will be reporting directly to the CEO. He joins Heartland from MNL Partners where he led technology partnership development activities in China. Prior to MNL, Quincy worked as a Project Director for LanzaTech China and served on the Board of Directors for Shougang LanzaTech New Energy Science & Technology.

With the formation of Heartland China, Quincy and the Heartland team will be hiring senior engineers, project managers and commercial leaders in the Shanghai office.
