One of Idrica's cornerstones is to support its clients on their path towards digital transformation and efficiency. To this end, the company has launched the Idrica Academy, a comprehensive training platform through which members of the company can acquire, reinforce and update their knowledge of the sector in a dynamic digital learning environment.
In fact, the aim of this platform is none other than to facilitate in-house training on Idrica's product portfolio for different user groups.
In this sense, the Idrica Academy platform intends to provide Idrica employees and partners such as Xylem, with basic training on the company's processes and product portfolio. However, the scope of the platform does not stop there; depending on the circumstances of specific projects, it will also be open to clients that require ongoing training as part of their digital transformation journey.
According to José Vicente Cercós, Head of Product at Idrica, who is in charge of the platform, the goal is simplicity. "The platform has been designed so that users can access the online courses from any web browser that supports HTML. The courses feature attractive, interactive training resources, such as word search puzzles, matching and gap-filling exercises, making for an enjoyable learning experience and providing knowledge that is easy to assimilate.”

The platform is divided clearly into courses and learning plans segmented by categories to make it more user-friendly. Thus, for example, the platform is divided into "Starter Training", with basic courses on water and IT; and "Specific Training", focused on knowledge of the Xylem Vue powered by GoAigua platform, as well as on advanced aspects of the sector and IT subjects.
In this sense, the Xylem Vue powered by GoAigua technological solution, the platform designed to drive the digital transformation of water and developed by Idrica, is itself made up of innovative technological solutions that provide a holistic, simple and secure response to the challenges of the water cycle, so management improvements need to include knowledge on how to use it.
In addition, one of the special features of this online academy is that progress is rewarded with credentials that are automatically published on LinkedIn, the leading professional social media network, which has over 774 million users.
The course catalog currently features the following training itineraries: i) the water cycle in all of its phases, ii) Smart Water Engine, with specific courses about its components, iii) Solution Overview, focused on each and every one of the solutions that make up the Xylem Vue powered by GoAigua platform, and, finally, iv) basic information technology concepts.
