Themes

Kurita has decided to reorganize eleven domestic sales companies, etc., of the Kurita Group, which are mainly involved in the sale of water treatment chemicals and provision of maintenance services for water treatment facilities in Japan, effective April 1, 2024. Specifically, two of the eleven domestic sales companies, Kurita Kanto Ltd. and Kurita Kansai Ltd., will be the surviving companies and merge the other nine companies into them, changing the tradenames of the two surviving companies.

Under the medium-term management plan, Pioneering Shared Value 2027 (PSV-27), the Kurita Group aims to strengthen the creation shared value with society through our business for diverse industries and positions global expansion of business as a priority measure. The purpose of the reorganization is to speed up the implementation of this measure. For further expansion of CSV business in Japan's general water treatment market, we will strengthen the contact points with customer's sites through one-stop sales integrating water treatment chemicals and maintenance services and establish a system for quick and effective horizontal implementation for sharing successful cases crossing over the boundaries between each domestic sales company.

As a close partner of the customers for their business challenges, the Kurita Group will contribute to saving water, reducing GHG emissions, recycling waste into resources, and reducing resource inputs and realising a sustainable society, through creating and providing solutions including CSV business.

The outline of the two new domestic sales companies after the reorganization is as follows.
