The National Water Company (NWC), a Saudi joint stock company fully owned by the government (namely the Public Investment Fund), was established to provide water and wastewater treatment services in accordance with the latest international standards.

The National Water Company (NWC), represented by its Central Cluster, announced the completion of Phase 4 of its wastewater networks project in Al Dawadmi Governorate, Riyadh Region. Valued at over SR 73 million, the project is part of the company’s strategic plans to strengthen water and environmental services infrastructure.

The company stated that the project involved the installation of more than 66 km of wastewater pipelines, and aimed at extending environmental services to several residential districts, including King Fahd, Badr, Hittin, A -Nahda, and Al Faisaliah.

NWC added that the project comes as part of its efforts to reduce environmental impact and address visual pollution, thus contributing to the delivery of higher-quality environmental services for more than 27,000 beneficiaries, while keeping pace with the urban expansion in the governorate.

To support the water sector objectives of the Saudi Arabian Vision 2030, the company emphasized its commitment to continuing infrastructure projects according to approved schedules, ensuring the delivery of sustainable, high-quality environmental services.
