John F Hunt Regeneration has appointed Chris Leary as Water Director, reinforcing the company’s capabilities in the water utilities and water management sector.
Leary joins the organisation with more than two decades of experience in regulated utilities, bringing extensive expertise in operational delivery, framework management and the execution of major infrastructure projects. In his new role, he will support the continued expansion of the company’s activities across complex water infrastructure and asset management programmes.
Before joining John F Hunt Regeneration, Leary held several senior leadership positions at Galliford Try. During his tenure there, he served as Operations Director and Head of Delivery, overseeing the delivery of complex programmes in the regulated water sector. His responsibilities included managing large-scale operational frameworks and leading project teams within highly regulated environments.
Earlier in his career, Leary also held senior management roles at ECS Engineering Services, where he worked across gas and water infrastructure. This experience provided him with a strong background in compliance-led asset delivery, operational performance and risk management within critical utility networks.
The appointment is part of the company’s strategy to further strengthen its offering to water utilities and infrastructure operators. Leary’s expertise will contribute to the organisation’s ability to manage and deliver regulated water assets safely and efficiently, as it continues to expand its presence in the sector.
