Miya, a global leader in water loss reduction, has announced a significant leadership transition as Noam Komy steps into the role of Executive Chairman after serving as CEO for the past 2.5 years. Komy, who has been with Miya for 12 years in executive roles, emphasized his continued commitment to the company’s long-term strategy, vision, and overall direction, despite stepping away from daily operations.
The announcement was made by Komy through a post on social media, where he highlighted Miya’s tremendous growth and his excitement for this new chapter. He also reassured stakeholders that he remains dedicated to Miya’s success and future expansion.
Under Komy’s leadership, Miya has experienced remarkable growth, doubling its EBITDA in both 2023 and 2024. The company’s project pipeline now exceeds $1 billion, positioning it for further expansion and impact in the water sector. As part of its next growth phase, Miya is also exploring strategic acquisitions to enhance its capabilities and global reach.
Taking over as CEO is José Carazo, who has been with Miya for four years and has played a key role in shaping its success. With a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and strategic expansion, Carazo is well-positioned to drive Miya forward.
Alongside Carazo, Miya’s executive management team will include:
Agustin Gómez-Moreno as Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Goncalo Delgado as Chief Operating Officer (COO)
This leadership team will oversee Miya’s daily operations, ensuring the company continues to innovate, deliver excellence, and make a significant impact in the water sector. The transition marks a new chapter for Miya, reinforcing its commitment to teamwork, innovation, and its mission to improve water management worldwide.
