The Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) has announced that the Request for Qualification (RFQ) for Rabigh 4 IWP has been issued to the interested companies.
In June the SWPC invited expressions of interest for the development of the Rabigh 4 Independent Water Project, a desalination plant to be designed using reverse osmosis seawater desalination technology.
The project will have a desalination capacity of 600,000 cubic metres of water per day, and include the desalination plant and all associated infrastructure and facilities. It will be located in Rabigh, 180 km northwest of Makkah, on the coast of the Red Sea in the Western Province of the Kingdom.
