Uniwater has acquired WCI, a Somerset-based engineering company specialising in water and wastewater infrastructure. The deal marks Uniwater’s entry into the UK water and wastewater market.
Founded in 1983, WCI provides engineering services across the water and wastewater sector, including design and advisory services, turnkey construction, maintenance and operations, and natural capital solutions. The company works with commercial and municipal clients across England and Wales and has 24 employees based at its headquarters in Somerset.
The acquisition will give Uniwater a presence in the UK market, where WCI will continue to provide services across its existing areas of expertise.

Brad Taylor, Managing Director of WCI, said the acquisition will support the company’s future growth.

The acquisition expands Uniwater’s operations into the UK, adding WCI’s experience in delivering water and wastewater infrastructure services for public and private sector clients.
