Xylem, a leading global water technology company committed to building on its strong foundation and accelerating growth by developing innovative solutions to solve the world’s water challenges, has further expanded its regional footprint with the acquisition of Turkey’s leading pumping and water treatment systems company, Anadolu Flygt.
The acquisition will allow the company to service a broader range of countries across the region and further accelerate Xylem’s growth in the Middle East market with an enhanced suite of digital water solutions, as well as proven systems for sustainable water use.
Xylem’s acquisition of Anadolu Flygt, Turkey’s market leader in the supply, installation and after-sales service for pumping and water treatment systems, is aligned with the company’s goal to strengthen its operations in the fast-growing Middle East, Africa and Turkey region, and will draw stronger synergies that support the Middle East’s water and wastewater sector. It will allow Xylem to further strengthen its supply chain for pumping and water treatment systems in the region, adding to its portfolio of water-tech solutions as well as enhanced agility to meet customer requirements.

With the total acquisition, the operations of Anadolu Flygt will be seamlessly integrated under Xylem, effectively positioning the company as Turkey’s market leader in pumps and treatment systems. Anadolu Flygt has deep expertise in package pump stations, advanced water & wastewater pumping systems, filtration systems, UV disinfection, Ozone oxidation, treatment systems, blowers, mixers, electrical control panel and automation systems, instrumentation and rentals of pumping equipment. Its nearly 100-strong workforce have been integrated under Xylem.
The acquisition of Anadolu Flygt is the latest in a number of acquisitions by Xylem in the Advanced Infrastructure Analytics (AIA) space in recent months, including EmNet and Pure Technologies, both leaders in smart infrastructure assessment and management, underlining Xylem’s digital portfolio and its commitment to supporting the region’s digital transformation plans for the water and energy sector.
