Yarra Valley Water has appointed Tony Citera as its new Chief Financial Officer to lead the organisation’s Finance and Corporate Service Group and help deliver its customer-focused strategy.
Mr Citera will oversee finance, procurement, legal, risk and other corporate functions, supporting Yarra Valley Water to deliver on its core purpose of providing reliable water and sewerage services for the community.
Yarra Valley Water Managing Director Natalie Foeng said Mr Citera’s appointment strengthens the executive team and adds valuable leadership and expertise to the organisation
“Tony is an experienced leader with a strong record of delivering projects that benefit the community,” Ms Foeng said.

Mr Citera joins Yarra Valley Water with more than 25 years of experience in senior finance and commercial roles across highly regulated industries.
Most recently, he was General Manager Finance – Retail, Brand and Marketing at Australia Post, overseeing enterprise-wide financial strategy, procurement and investment governance. He has also held senior roles at Telstra and Sensis.
Mr Citera said he was looking forward to making a positive impact with Yarra Valley Water.
