Julio Ratia, Middle East O&M Manager, has been invited by ONU-Habitat, to participate in an expert meeting next January 17th in the World Water Future Energy Summit, within the framework of Global Water Operators’ Partnerships Alliance (GWOPA).
The Expert meeting goal is to debate about utilities in water scarce cities, in order to formulate several technical recommendations as well as good practices and cases studies, that will be presented in the World Urban Forum 2020 in Abu Dhabi.
The specific forum on Water of the WFES, organized together with the International Desalination Association (IDA), will present the latest innovations and technology available to the sector to solve the major challenges posed by the scarcity of water. The World Future Energy Summit is considered the reference event on B2B sustainability and is the leader in the Middle East. It is an essential platform for both governments and companies to highlight the critical water-related problems in arid regions, offering state-of-the-art solutions and providing a platform where associations can be created to take on these challenges together.
