ACCIONA has announced the appointment of Luis Miguel López Mier as the new Director of the Water Construction Area. With a 26-year career at the company, López Mier, a Civil Engineer from the University of Cantabria and an MBA from EOI, has played a crucial role in the development and expansion of construction teams both in Spain and internationally.
In his new role, he will oversee operations in key markets such as LATAM, Morocco, the Middle East, with Saudi Arabia as the epicenter, as well as in Southeast Asia and Australia.
This appointment is in addition to other strategic movements in ACCIONA's Infrastructure and Water areas, including José Díaz-Caneja as CEO of Acciona Infrastructures, Manuel Manjón Vilda as CEO of the Water Business, and Alejandro Jiménez in business development of the Infrastructure division.
