ACCIONA has appointed José Díaz-Caneja as the new CEO of the Infrastructure area, succeeding Luis Castilla in the position. In this new phase, the choice of Díaz-Caneja reflects the company's confidence in his experience and leadership skills.
Díaz-Caneja, who joined ACCIONA Agua in 2002, is a civil engineer and holds an MBA from IESE Business School. Prior to joining ACCIONA, he gained extensive experience at Sacyr and FCC. In addition, he held the position of General Director of the PPP Forum between 2007 and 2011, representing private companies in infrastructure and public service concessions in Spain. Since 2013, Díaz-Caneja has held the position of CEO of the Water business at ACCIONA, a key position for the company's growth and international expansion in this sector.
