Smart Water Magazine’s audience increases 54% in the last year and hits 100,000 monthly page views

In November of 2021, SWM’s audience reached for the first time the milestone of 100,000 page views per month and continues to grow. This represents an outstanding 54% year-on-year growth.
The number of monthly users has also experienced a remarkable 57% growth compared to November 2020. Users have increased in all five continents, with audience growth in Asia standing out with 134% more users.
Next January we’ll celebrate Smart Water Magazine’s three-year anniversary. Created by the iAgua team, SWM was launched as an exclusive online media platform specialized in delivering up-to-date water-related news for water industry professionals around the world.
In May 2020 we took a step further with the launch of Smart Water Magazine Bimonthly. Through interviews, feature articles, opinion pieces and our own sections, the magazine gives a voice to key players in the water industry and has quickly become a global leader with a huge impact on the water community. Our digital project also expanded with SWM Webinars, a fundamental way to stay connected as the digital sphere gained momentum in the field of communications and marketing.

The September issue of Smart Water Magazine Bimonthly, featuring Piers Clark, Founder and Chairman of Isle Group on the cover, and many examples of how water companies are embracing innovation, has been a favourite of the audience.
Released near the end of November and with over 5,700 views in just a few days, it seems it might beat all records in the coming months. In the most recent issue of SWM Bimonthly, we heard about the Asian Development Bank’s work to drive water security and resilience from our cover person Neeta Pokhrel, who heads the ADB’s Water Sector Group.
