Canal de Isabel II, the public company that manages the water supplies for Madrid, Spain, has resolved the tender for the works to improve the sewerage networks that it manages in various municipalities in the Community of Madrid, reports iAgua.
Spain awards €200 million to improve the efficiency of the urban water cycle
The grants for the 30 projects financed range between 3.3 and 7.9 million euros and will benefit 1,676 municipalities in 16 autonomous communities. The second PERTE call is currently open, also with 200 million euros, and the deadline for submitting projects is 13 December 2023.
