VA TECH WABAG has been awarded a large contract by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) to provide advanced industrial water treatment solutions for the Bina Petrochemical and Refinery Expansion Project in Madhya Pradesh, India. The scope of work includes a comprehensive water treatment package consisting of a Raw Water Treatment Plant, a Reverse Osmosis-based Demineralisation Plant, and a Zero Liquid Discharge facility at the BPCL Bina refinery. The project will be executed by WABAG on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) basis, encompassing design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning. The project is expected to be completed within 22 months.
