Water Engineering Inc. (WEI), a leading water treatment company backed by private equity firm Nolan Capital, has acquired LDW Water Technologies, Inc., a respected provider of industrial water treatment solutions based in Sicklerville, New Jersey. This strategic move marks WEI’s tenth acquisition since partnering with Nolan Capital, further advancing its mission to build a high-quality, national water treatment platform.
Founded in 1961, LDW Water Technologies has long been recognized for delivering specialized solutions across sectors including commercial facilities and complex industrial wastewater operations. The company has built its reputation on personalized service, transparency, and technical excellence.
With this acquisition, LDW will become part of the broader WEI platform, strengthening the company’s service capabilities in the U.S. Northeast and enhancing its ability to deliver tailored water treatment solutions. LDW’s former President and Owner, John Drimak, will remain with the business, playing a key role in its continued regional and wastewater-focused growth.
“John has built and grown LDW into a leader in wastewater treatment solutions throughout the Northeast by focusing on high quality execution and service for his customers,” said David Wagenfuhr, CEO of Water Engineering. “We are thrilled to have him aboard as part of our platform as we embark on this next chapter together. This partnership allows us to enhance service, expand resources, and drive innovation together.”
Water Engineering and Nolan Capital emphasized their continued commitment to developing a scalable, national platform that delivers best-in-class water treatment services. The acquisition of LDW reflects WEI’s focus on long-term growth and its ability to integrate trusted local providers into a unified network offering enhanced solutions and client support.
